Lowcountry Womens Fiction Author: The Most Fun Writing Genre

By Debra Nelson

Writing is not always about sitting behind a desk and typing on a laptop. Sometimes writers go outside their offices and homes to explore the world and write about it, one of this genre is Lowcountry womens fiction author. Example of writers and writers specializing in this genre includes Jonathan White, Catherine Marshall and Ben Groundwater, they are book authors, journalists/travel writer, and columnist respectively.

It is fun being an outdoor writer, they go to trips regularly, make notes about the food and activities (kayaking, camping, fishing, and etc.) there and finally write articles or books and sell them. Jonathan White, a well know writer wrote a book about the experience he got when he visited the ocean, his book title is The Science and Spirit of the Ocean.

Some when they are at these holiday destinations focus on finding the things that are unique and fun to do at a particular holiday area. Some focus on the cost of the overall trip while some focus on how easy or difficult it is to tour in these areas. They then write reviews on the holiday websites, or advertise them in tourism magazines for a fee or write articles for their blogs.

With one trip, a writer can sell the same experience to several markets. All they have to do is to rewrite and reshape the article with different pictures to avoid plagiarism and to make each article unique and authentic. Each article will differ depending on what the buyers need and its purpose, but only one trip will have been made. Selling one thing to different people in different ways will maximize the profits.

This writing genre can be stressful at times, it is not just about going to fancy hotels and adventurous trips to write an article. You ll have to be both a writer and a financial planner. Sometimes you ll be paid less than what you spent during your travel. Now, that in business terms is called a loss. So you may be forced to go on a traveling budget sometimes, taking long uncomfortable flights to your destination instead of flying first class.

These writers don t really have time to enjoy their stay at a beach or a restaurant, this type of traveling changes from being for leisure to being a work travel. Taking notes, interviewing local people and taking pictures is what travel writers spend their time doing on these tours. Unlike people who travel for fun and to relax, outdoor writers have to be very observant while touring, they must look for things that make the places to tick, after all, they want their articles to sell.

Not all outdoor writers love traveling or are adventurous, some like staying at home while others have never gotten out of their countries. They don t write about holiday destinations, they write about simple things like gardening, farming, geology and anything concerning the outside world.

Travel writers travel worldwide and make money from that.
